Dua minggu yang lalu kebetulan banget saya ditawarin pihak SNP atau Shining Nature Purity, salah satu brand kecantikan asal Korea untuk nyobain salah satu rangkaian produk mereka, yaitu SNP Cicaronic. Duh, jelas dong saya nggak nolak, apalagi packagingnya warna hijau *penting* hahaha.
Two weeks ago I’ve got an offer from Korean Skincare brand named SNP or Shining Nature Purity to try one of their superior product series which is SNP Prep Cicaronic Series. I undoubtedly said yes to them because one of the reason their Cicaronic series packed in green color lol.
Sebelum bilang iya, saya sempat cari tahu dulu secara detail tentang Cicaronic series ini mulai dari packaging, kandungan, cocok untuk kulit apa, sampai ke review para penggunanya. Mentang – mentang dikasih gratis nggak artinya saya langsung setuju, karena kulit saya tuh kering cenderung sensitif.
But before I agreed with their offer, I tried to find out the details regarding the Cicaronic series, such as the packaging, ingredients, targeted skin type, and the customers review. I need to know whether it suitable for my sensitve – dry skin or not.
Getting Closer with SNP Prep Cicaronic Series
SNP Prep Series ini punya 3 varian, salah satunya ya Cicaronic ini. Kandungan di dalam SNP Prep Cicaronic Series ini adalah centella asiatica, yang mana fungsi utamanya untuk merawat kulit iritasi, mencegah produksi minyak berlebih, dan meningkatkan produksi kolagen.

There are five products in this Cicaronic series; SNP Prep Cicaronic Cleansing Foam, SNP Prep Cicaronic Toning Essence, SNP Prep Cicaronic Soothing Cream, SNP Prep Cicaronic SOS Ampoule, and SNP Prep Cicaronic Daily Mask. Lucky me, they even send 2 products, which are the cleansing foam and the toning essence.
Saya sudah mencoba dua produk tersebut selama dua minggu tanpa memakai produk lain. Tujuannya supaya benar – benar yakin apakah produk ini cocok atau nggak. Daan ternyata… cocok! Wuih senangnyaa 😀 Soalnya saya dulu pernah coba produk dari brand lain dengan kandungan centella asiatica tapi setelah dua hari langsung breakout.
I have trying those two since two weeks ago regularly over nothing. The main reason is to reassure my self there is no allergies or bad effect to my skin. Because long time ago, I tried product from another brand which contain the same ingredient and the next day got big bumps on my face.
SNP Prep Cicaronic Cleansing Foam
Bahas skincare enaknya dari langkah awal dulu, jadi pertama saya mau ngomongin Cleansing Foam nya. Layaknya sabun pencuci muka umumnya, tujuan dari produk ini adalah sebagai pembersih kulit wajah dari segala macam kotoran, debu, polusi yang menjadikan kulit kusam.
First of all, let’s talk about the cleansing foam. Similar with common facial wash, this product aims to clean our skin from all the dirt and pollution which makes skin looks dull.
Dari segi ukuran, Cleansing Foam ini gede banget. 180 ml Cukup banget buat 3 bulan kalau dipakai 2 kali sehari di pagi dan malam. Produknya sendiri punya wangi seperti sabun antiseptik yang menurut saya nggak mengganggu. Teksturnya pun creamy dan mengeluarkan busa cukup banyak, sehingga sekali pemakaian cuma butuh seukuran biji jagung. Ketika selesai dibilas wajah terasa keset dan saya agak nggak nyaman. Eh ajaibnya, walau kesat tapi nggak berasa kering atau ketarik.
Talking about size, 180 ml is quite big and I guess it is enough for 3 months if you use it twice a day in the morning and evening. In my opinion, when you pour the product there is a floral scent mixed with antiseptic smell. I have no problem at all with the scents, actually. Texture wise, it is creamy and produce lots of foam so you only need tiny amount for single use. After rinsing, my skin feels squeaky but oddly, it doesn’t dry my skin at all.

Dua hari pertama pemakaian Cleansing Foam ini tekstur kulitku kelihatan jelas beberapa bopeng bekas jerawat dan ada sedikit beruntusan kecil. Tapi setelahnya tekstur kulit malah kelihatan lebih halus dan beruntusan pun hilang. Kemerahan di sekitar hidung pun pelan – pelan menghilang.
Two days in a row after I using it, the scars couldn’t seen clearly and there was a few breakouts around my chin. But the days after my skin texture got better and it even looks smooth. Redness around the skin also had vanished slowly.
SNP Prep Cicaronic Toning Essence
Setelah mencuci muka, dilanjutkan dengan toning essence. Walau namanya toning essence, menurut saya produk ini seperti hydrating toner. Kandungannya sama dengan cleansing foam ya, ada Centella Asiatica dan Hyaluronic Acid dengan khasiat yang sama.
After finishing with the cleansing foam, I continue with the tonic essence. At first I was a bit confused with the label. But after I opened it, I think this leans more toward hydrating toner. It has similar ingredients and effect with the cleansing foam.
Dikemas dalam botol plastik berwarna hijau pastel transparan dengan tutup berwarna putih. Wanginya lebih floral dibandingkan dengan cleansing foam-nya. Teksturnya sangat cair, tapi begitu diaplikasikan dengan cara dituang ke telapak tangan dan ditepuk – tepuk ke wajah, cairan cepat meresap dan kulit jadi lembab.
Packed in soft green and clear plastic bottle with white bottle cap. The floral scents is bit stronger then the cleansing foam. The texture is very runny, but once applied by pouring it on my palms and dab to my skin, the fluid sink quickly and moist the skin.

Awalnya saya sempat berpikir kemungkinan besar nggak akan cocok sama produk ini karena trauma dulu pernah breakout waktu pakai produk yang mengandung Centella Asiatica. Ternyata saya salah besar! SNP Prep Cicaronic Series ini nggak ada efek buruk di kulit. Malahan, kulit saya malah terlihat lebih cerah. Okay SNP, you got me right 🙂
At the beginning I underestimated it cause of my traumatized with another Centella Asiatica product from different brand. Hence, This Cicaronic Series has no bad effect to my skin. It even brightens my skin as it claims!
