SNP Pomegranate Intensive Soothing Gel Review

 Beberapa waktu yang lalu, saya cerita soal tangan kering dan pecah – pecah karena keseringan cuci tangan dan menggunakan hand sanitizer. Sampai beberapa waktu setelahnya masalah kulit kering ini belum juga teratasi.

Several times ago, I wrote an article about my dry and cracked skin after washing my hands and applied hand sanitizer so much. Moreover, until a few weeks after, this dry skin problem has not been overcome yet.

Ternyata yang punya masalah ini bukan saya aja, tapi Adit juga. Adit kan kerja di dapur, jadi otomatis mesti sering cuci tangan dong. Udah gitu Adit tuh rese banget. I realized this issue not only happened to me, Adit is either. He washed his hands frequently as he worked around the kitchen on a daily basis. One day I was contacted by SNP, which is a well known South Korea skincare brand and they offered me to try their newest version of Soothing Gel. Since they have reformulated the product and they have 4 variants of product recently, which is Aloe Vera, Pomegranate, Snail, and Bird Nest.

Setelah saya bilang setuju untuk mencoba, beberapa hari kemudian mereka mengirimkan Soothing Gel dalam varian Pomegranate. Lucu banget kemasannya warna merah. Ternyata saya baru tahu tiap varian memiliki warna kemasan yang berbeda.

I agreed to try their product and they immediately sent the soothing gel a few days after. I am surprised that I’ve got the Pomegranate one. The packaging comes in red colour and i thought it is really cute. For your information, each variant comes in a different color.

SNP Intensive Soothing Gel – Pomegranate

Pas saya perhatikan lebih seksama lagi, kemasannya minimalis sekali karena hanya terdapat tulisan Pomegranate, Glowing, dan Vitality. Mungkin maksudnya gel ini mengandung pomegranate yang membuat kulit berkilau dan dapat meningkatkan elastisitas kulit.

I noticed the packaging is quite minimalist since there are only a few words such as ‘Pomegranate’, ‘Glowing’, and ‘Vitality’. I assumed it means the gel contains pomegranate which makes the skin glow and improves the skin elasticity.

Ketika kemasan tutupnya dibuka, ternyata gel nya tidak langsung menempel di tutup. Produknya dilindungi lagi dengan tutup ‘lid’ bening jadi tidak mudah terkontaminasi dengan udara luar. Kekurangannya hanya tidak disediakannya spatula untuk mengambil produk di dalam tube. Jadinya saya mesti punya spatula sendiri supaya produk tetap higienis

When i opened the tube, i was surprised that this product is secured by a second layer lid so the gel won’t be affected with air. However, they don’t come with spatula since the gel comes in a tube and to keep it hygiene, I need separated spatula to scoop the product.

Kalau produk mereka yang dulu namanya hanya Soothing Gel. Sementara sekarang ada kata ‘Intensive’ karena sudah diformulasikan untuk menenangkan kulit, tidak membuat iritasi, maupun menimbulkan reaksi alergi. Cocok banget emang buat yang punya masalah kulit kayak saya sama Adit. Terus juga kalau ada yang kulitnya kemerahan terkena sinar matahari atau punya bekas jerawat juga bisa lho pake soothing gel ini.

They used to name their product Soothing Gel, however they add Intensive word in front due to several changes in it such as the ability to calming skin, non irritated ingredients, and allergen free. It is suitable for anyone who has a similar skin problem as Adit and me. People who got sunburned and have acne scars also can use the soothing gel.

Hari pertama saya coba gel ini ke kulit saya setelah cuci tangan dan sebelum tidur. Gel nya langsung menyerap ke dalam kulit dan happy karena dingin setiap habis pakai ini. Setelah seminggu rutin menggunakan, kondisi kulit saya sudah jauh lebih baik walaupun belum sepenuhnya sembuh. Adit juga sekarang malah ketagihan pake soothing gel ini karena sensasi adem setelah dipakai dan formulanya yang langsung kering di kulit.

On the first day I tried this soothing gel, I applied it after washing hands and before bed. My first impression was the gel absorbed quickly into my skin and it felt so cold. After seven days in a row using this product, my skin condition got better, so was Adit. He even never forgets to apply this product at night because he likes the cool sensation after applying this gel and it doesn’t feel sticky in his skin.

Eh menariknya, pihak SNP setelahnya bilang ke saya kalau produk soothing gel ini bisa dipakai untuk segala jenis kulit dan cocok untuk segala usia, termasuk balita seperti Ammar.

The SNP Team told me the interesting part, which is that this soothing gel is intended for use by consumers of all ages and gentle enough for babies, hence it suitables for my Son, Ammar.

Ammar kan lagi aktif – aktifnya atau yang sering disebut dalam fase ‘Terrible Two’. Loncat sana loncat sini terus kejedot atau ada ‘lecet – lecet lucu’ mah udah biasa. Tapi kan sebel ya bekasnya tuh suka susah banget ilangnya. Saya ingat punya SNP Pomegranate Intensive Soothing Gel terus dioles ke bekas luka jatuhnya Ammar di kaki. Saya tes dulu lah satu kaki karena masih takut nggak cocok di Ammar.

Ammar is currently in Terrible Two phase which means he can’t stop jumping and running all the time. It is not surprising if I found bumps or scars on his hands or feet. However, I still feel annoyed because the scars or bumps are hard to vanish. Then I remembered I have SNP Soothing Gel and I dabbed it on the scars.

Wow, bukan sulap bukan sihir. Seminggu kemudian bekas lukanya sudah memudar jauh lebih baik dong. Kulitnya Ammar juga jadi halus dan lembab banget. Ternyata karena soothing gel ini kandungan alkoholnya kurang dari 1%, makanya aman dan nggak bikin kulit makin kering.

I thought it was magic, but it is not. A week after I applied it on him I saw the scars had vanished and his skin got better. He has no allergies from this soothing gel because this alcohol content in this product is less than 1%.
